Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Cinema and Cross-Disciplinary projects

Grants for projects that contribute to the international visibility of Portuguese and foreign creators in the areas of Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Cinema and Cross-Disciplinary projects.

Objectives

  • To encourage projects that contribute to creating and strengthening international collaboration networks with an impact on the professional growth of the candidate artists as well as the visibility and recognition of their work;
  • To support the travel of artists/programmers/curators to participate in artistic projects promoted by leading international cultural institutions with regular activity in the areas covered by the open call.

The reference ceiling for support is €5,000.

Eligibility requirements

Who can apply:

  • Portuguese artists, curators and programmers in their individual capacity, or through private Portuguese non-profit organisations with which they collaborate in the implementation of the project;
  • Foreign authors, curators and programmers residing in Portugal, either individually or through private Portuguese non-profit organisations with which they collaborate in the execution of the project.

Projects must be submitted 45 days prior to the date of the international event and must be executed within the period of 12 months following the application.

  • Applications will only be accepted online and in Portuguese;
  • Register to apply;
  • Before submitting the application form, check all the eligibility criteria. We advise you to read the Call Conditions and the Frequently Asked Questions (available in the Documents area);
  • Applications can only be submitted once all the mandatory fields of the form have been completed and the documentation required by the Regulation has been uploaded;
  • At the end, click on the “submit application” button. In order to prevent difficulties in submitting applications, avoid submitting your application in the last few days of the deadline.
