Thanks to the continued partnership with ENCATC, NEMO is excited to accept applications from its members to the 2025 edition of the ENCATC Academy on Sustainable Cultural Management and Policy, taking place from 14–17 April in Bologna, Italy.
The dynamic training programme will bring together academics, trainers, cultural practitioners, and policymakers for four days of insightful exchange, discussion, and peer learning. The Academy will focus on equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to support culture’s transition towards sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusivity. Additionally, NEMO’s 2025 priority focus on wellbeing will also be featured as a cross-cutting theme throughout the Academy.
Participants will:
- Gain insight into the latest trends in sustainable cultural management and policy.
- Expand awareness of how sustainability applies across cultural activities.
- Explore innovative approaches to resilience and inclusivity within the cultural sector.
- Connect with cultural actors driving the sustainable transition.
- Network with like-minded professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Through our partnership with ENCATC, 10 participants connected to NEMO member organisations will be selected to attend the Academy free of charge. Each NEMO participant will receive a travel grant (up to €800) to support their attendance. The final grant amount is determined in accordance with our grant scheme.
