Join the Networking Meeting for Cultural Heritage Sites, organised by Europa Nostra and Le Dimore del Quartetto in the framework of MERITA, on 28 February 2025 (11:00 – 12:30 CET).
This online event will offer a unique opportunity to explore the EU-funded MERITA platform, which aims to foster collaboration and deepen the understanding of the impact of artistic and cultural activities in historic settings.
The networking meeting will feature insights into the project’s past and present experiences, with a particular focus on concerts held in culturally significant venues as well as future opportunities. Concerts hosts and organisers as well as musicians will share stories and testimonials about how combining music with heritage sites has enriched both the cultural and artistic experiences.
This is an exclusive opportunity to connect with professionals in the cultural sector, learn more about the MERITA platform, and discover innovative approaches to activating and enhancing cultural venues.
As one of the 16 members of the MERITA consortium coordinated by Le Dimore del Quartetto, Europa Nostra organised in 2024 four concerts in iconic heritage sites, namely at the Winzeberg Royal Vineyard in Potsdam (Germany), the Friluftsskolen Open-Air School in Copenhagen (Denmark) and the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) in Dublin (Ireland) – all winners of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards – and the ARTE Music Academy in Nicosia (Cyprus).
This online networking meeting is free-of-charge but registration is compulsory.
