The regulation of the minister of culture and national heritage on exporting heritage objects specifies the procedure for submitting applications as well as the templates and procedure necessar for issuing a one-time permit for the permanent export of a monument abroad; a one-time permit for the temporary export of a monument abroad; multiple individual permits for the temporary export of a monument abroad; multiple general permits for the temporary export of monuments abroad. The document specifies what must be included in an application for a single and multiple permit for the export of a heritage object abroad and what attachments are necessary. Before considering applications, the voivodeship conservator of monuments or the Director of the National Library inspects the heritage object. The inspection may be carried out with the participation of appropriate experts and using specialized equipment in the place where the object is located or at the headquarters of the conservator/director of library. In the case of an application for a one-time permit for the permanent export of a heritag eobjectabroad, after its inspection, the voivodeship conservator of monuments sends the application together with the heritage object inspection report to the minister responsible for culture and protection of national heritage.
