Program of cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia for the years 2022-2025 is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange between Georgia and Estonia. Article 7 highlights bilateral cooperation in the field of conservation and restoration of historical and cultural monuments. One of the primary objectives of this program is to encourage cultural activities by Georgians living in Estonia and Estonians living in Georgia. Article 15 highlights the need to organize Georgian cultural events in Estonia and Estonian cultural events in Georgia. To this end, the Parties exchange official delegations of the ministries of culture, with each exchange lasting up to 5 days, according to Article 16.
The Parties notify each other of large-scale joint projects and define necessary funding on time, in line with their domestic legislation, to achieve program goals, as stated in Article 17. Article 18 emphasizes the exchange of experience in implementing EU programs in culture, particularly with Creative Europe initiatives. Article 19 encourages the cooperation of arts education institutions by promoting academic staff and student exchange programs.
