Digitization and curation of the visual aspects (illustration, design) of Belgian popular literature of the 20th and 21st Century.

The Literary Theory and Cultural Studies Research Group at KU Leuven focuses on studying 20th and 21st-century culture across literature, visual arts, digital media, and performance. It examines cultural history and current practices, including both ‘high’ and popular culture in Europe and Latin America, leveraging cultural theory and digital heritage. The Group engages in interdisciplinary projects globally and seeks a candidate with expertise in online publishing, digital curation, metadata, and data visualisation for collaboration with the Royal Library and other heritage institutions.
