This review aims to assess the existing knowledge on culture-based prescribing, where clinical professionals recommend arts and cultural activities to enhance mental health and well-being. Despite its potential as a community support method, the practice’s diverse definitions, theoretical underpinnings, and activities challenge its advancement and application. The review will include studies on adults with mental health symptoms engaging in such prescriptions, without date or language limits for the initial search. A dual-reviewer approach will be used for screening and data extraction, focusing on languages the team understands. Analysis will be descriptive, providing both tabulated and narrative summaries of findings.
