275/2000 Sb. VYHLÁŠKA Ministerstva kultury ze dne 28. července 2000, kterou se provádí zákon č. 122/2000 Sb., o ochraně sbírek muzejní povahy a o změně některých dalších zákonů

This ordinance serves as operational directives for the implementation of Act No. 122/2000 on the Protection of Collections of Museum Character and the Amendment of Certain Other Laws. It gives details on how the individual provisions of the above-mentioned document should be applied and executed.
Firstly, it talks about the permanent preservation of museum collections through the creation of optimal storage conditions and protection from any unfavourable conditions such as humidity, pests, or mechanical damage. These threats should be mitigated through the creation and observance of the “rules of storage” – a document that every collection owner should create.
It further details the evidence and inventorying of the collection items, while taking into consideration the size of a collection. The ordinance also determines the procedure for the removal of an item from the collection.
The largest part of the document contains the following appendixes: specimens of forms concerning the inclusion of a collection in the Central Registry of Collections and application for granting the export permit; classification of museum collections from the perspective of their character (geology, archaeology, ethnology, etc.); list of state and public institutions authorized to provide expert services to collection owners; and specimen of notification about inventorying.
