The Resolution defines the objects that may be included in the registers of monuments of national and local significance.
Cultural heritage objects proposed for inclusion in the Register under the category of national significance must retain their authenticity (the monument must largely preserve its form and material and technical structure, historical cultural layers) and have at least one of the following features:
– have a significant impact on the development of the country’s culture;
– are directly related to historical events, beliefs, life and activities of people who made a significant contribution to the development of national culture;
– represent a masterpiece of creative genius, are milestone works of outstanding architects or other artists;
– are works of an extinct civilization or artistic style.
Cultural heritage sites that are suggested for inclusion in the Register under the category of local significance must retain their authenticity (the monument must largely preserve its form and material and technical structure, historical cultural layers) and have one or more of the following features:
– have an impact on the development of the culture of a particular locality or region;
– are associated with historical events, beliefs, life and activities of people who made a significant contribution to the development of the culture of a particular locality or region;
– are the cultural heritage of a national minority or regional ethnic group
